Biographical History | Herta Silbermann Rapp fled Germany in 1939 with her first husband, Walter Fabian, and went to Bolivia. While in Bolivia, Herta met her second husband Martin Rapp. They married in 1946 and, together, immigrated to the United States in 1954. | |
