Physical Description | Silver, cast, cut, stamped and engraved. Finial is flat sheet of silver cut in the form of a seven-pointed leaf, hinged to top of handle. Rings with three round clappers attach to apex of each of seven leaf points. Handle is long rod, square in section at top and tapering to point at end. Top section is cut and stamped on four sides to form repeating pattern of diamonds and bands. Engraved Hebrew letters. | |

Last name Bamnolker may also be spelled in Hebrew as במנולקר, and refers to a prominent Jewish family in the Bene Israel community of Mumbai. | |
